JSRB in partnership with Rising Stars presents “Tennis Proteges” – a fun and exciting way to learn the beautiful game of tennis. We have partnered with certified tennis professionals who have previously delivered development programs to youth that are fun and challenging alike.


This is Session 5 – Fall 2016. This session is a 5-week block of classes whereby the intent is to garner, harness and enhance your child’s love for tennis to further enhancing their skills . There will be 2 classes offered with a max participant list of 24 students per class:

Important Information: Parents to review this page for up-to-date information pertaining to all logistics and instructions:

*Please continue to check the webpage for dates and info of the program

*Arrive 15 mins early for your session to get changed and sign-in. Please attend the session you have signed up for

*Students will be assigned to a coach based on skill level

*NO outdoor shoes to be worn in gymnasium – this goes for all participants and spectators

*Request Parents to bring indoor shoes – you may assist with the session

*Please ensure your shoes have non-marking soles


  Age Group & Eligibility
– Boys & Girls from the ages of 4 to 13 years of age. (Girls 9+ years of age to be in Hijab)
Max # of participants per class = 24
– Age Groups: Each session will allow ages 4 to 13 years of age. Students will be broken into groups based on skill level
  • Class 1 from 2:30 to 3:30pm
  • Class 2 from 3:30 to 4:30pm

Event to take place on Sundays [2016 Calendar year] between 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Specific dates are noted below taking into consideration holidays and community programming.

**NOTE: We have arranged to take all participants to Mayfair Tennis Club for the last session. Directions and instructions will be provided to at the earliest as we confirm logistics with the club.

What to Bring

  • Non marking shoes (tennis or running)
  • Junior tennis Racquet (one will be provided, if you do not own one)
  • Water bottle
  • Appropriate gym attire (shorts, t-shirt/jersey) – **Hijab is mandatory for girls who are baligh**
  • Any Medication that your child requires
  • Health card in case of emergency (parents to carry them)
  • Parents to wear non-marking/training shoes as they may participate (you can only be on the gym floor with the right footwear)

4. Complete Payment – pay with Credit Card or Paypal Account



* A parent or guardian is required to be present during their child’s session
* Registration is complete when you sign waiver and complete payment. You will receive a confirmation email once this is complete. Please save and keep for your records
*There is a cap of 24 kids per Class. Registration will be done on a first come first basis. There will be a waiting list if the classes do reaches its’ capacity.
